I’m always looking for interesting data analysis of my playlists, whether it’s the Spotify or YouTube version. They each have unique personalities, even though the music genres are generally the same.
Spotilyze is a site I found tonight that basically analyzes your Spotify playlist and then reports data such as:
- Overall Mood
- Top Artists
- Top Genres
- Track Popularity
- Beats Per Minute (BPM) distribution of your tracks
- Musical Key of your tracks
- Tracks containing explicit lyrics
Spotilyze lets you analyze your Spotify playlists to give you a deeper understanding of your music. It also lets you create new custom-made playlists based on your favorite tracks. They use the Spotify API to gather information about your playlists and display the result in a beautiful manner. You will get insights into the overall mood of your playlist, how popular your tracks are, and a lot more.
Spotilyze does not store information about you nor your playlists.
